Ah, I don't about this working Saturdays. I think I would of preferred Monday, but I guess then I still won't have any Monday blues. At least that's only two days off now instead of three. By the third it was getting a little hard to remember to magic my tie wrinkle free. Then it feels like I'm forgetting a lot of things though. I think it's about time to get a room mate that actually pays, that is if I want anything in my savings before I'm fifty.

Sometimes I wonder if we need N.E.W.T.S. I know I'll need them as a Ministry official, but really does it need to be a requirement? Those choosing to work in the Muggle worlds, those owning their own service business. I mean does an ice cream shop owner really need Os in Transfiguration?

It's a random thought I know, but I was just thinking about someone who just wanted to play music. That person really wouldn't need their final scores. Look at Fred and George.

So I'm glad the game brought such cheer. I was never in quidditch myself, Mum thought it was too dangerous. It's always been a good mood sifter though. Nice to see that magic is back, well semi back so at least something is back to normal.

I have to say whatever is happening can't be a wizard. It just can't. The things that are happening have from jokes to horrors and back to pranks. Just look at the recent things. Being put in an oven, c-cup man breasts, tied up in sexual postions andf now buried under 3 feet of dirt. Well not now, more like three hours ago. Still it's not a wizard... I think Nope not a wizard.

Everyone seems so divided. Half almost overly jubilant about being here and the other half disgusted mainly because they don't have houses! They just can't see anything clear can they? Maybe this is their mechanism to cope or maybe they didn't care at all. I can't believe I'm the only one that still doesn't care they died. Neville, even Isabel and Hermione even though I tend to think their grief is centered on one person. BY WHY SHOULDN'T IT?? Look now I'm even judging like those people out their moving around as if there wasn't a battle as if some of their classmates aren't dead, as if some of them aren't even in jail. No Hogwarts isn't all scarred and half rumble on the grounds, they're just giving it a paint job. Bloody hell these people need to wake up!

What am I even talking about. It's not like I talk to any of them. I'm sure some, some Ravenclaw could better be able to explain out how everyone is taking this, but they aren't taking it right! Besides I'm just not in the mood to talk to anyone. Writing this all out, I guess you'd call it my "anger" has just made me even more tired than I was.

Merlin I think the time as slipped by me. Does anyone realise NEWTs are just around the corner? Before spring break I had a study session for them once a weekend. Seems with all the commotion around school I've fallen off the wagon. Anyone up for a study group? I'm thinking once a week, maybe twice?

WooWooo. Who's exited to go back to school? Yeah I know we all are. Let's just hope those bloody shamrocks are gone. Hopefully a few other things too.Maybe we'll get one of those Quidditch rummage games they were talking about.

You know I fully agree with our Head Boy! Requesting things that should be your rights and safety protocols are ridiculous! How can I as a prefect stand for such audacious requests from my fellow students! FOR SHAME.


In other news the shamrocks are still around, and seem to be getting meaner every time you step on them. Merlin I hope no one continually stops on them during Dark Arts or Muggle Studies.

Can you believe breakfast? I mean first off that hot cereal was entirely to watery. I don't know who those house evles are trying to fool. Aside from the breakfast fair I was pleasantly surprised to find I did get a card even if we weren't allowed! To my amusement it was just shaped that way! Really it was a protest from the allusive D.A.'s we prefects are supposed to be catching. Wasn't it such a peaceful way of demonstrating relincae and not causing harm?

Smart kids these must be. Anyways here's hoping the dance is just as successful as the whole "no St.Valentine's Day" went.
